Donna Summer – The Best Friend

At 14 years old I moved from a very large city to a very small city in another state. The kids didn’t accept me right away, in fact they were kind of mean to me. One day I heard a voice coming from my radio and it was beautiful. It was singing “I Love You” from the Once Upon a Time album. It was, of course, Donna. She helped me so much through the years to get through tough, sad, difficult time, and never knew it. She was the Best Friend to a 14 year old girl who felt alone, a 32 year old woman who lost her father to Alzheimer’s, and a 50 year old woman who doesn’t always feel accepted in this world. I miss her, but I know she is in heaven with her Lord and  singing in his choir. Thank you Donna for always being there and making me feel accepted in this world. Love to you.

  1. It was on may 17th 2012, probably at 5 or 6 or 7pm. I was working on my computer. I used to play her music almost all day, especially when I’m writing or drawing. So her music began to play and I was writing and singing.
After several songs, the “Anyway at all” song started to play. I felt like she was singing to me that lyrics and I started to cry. Then I was playing this song over and over again…and I was crying over and over until this feeling stopped.
Next morning I was on my office and the phone rang. I picked up the phone…it was my brother. He told me: Do you know who died? I told him: no…who? He told me: Donna Summer…

  2. In 1991 she was in Poland (in Czestochowa). I was, I saw, I miss. She sang wonderfully. It was 6 World Youth Day 1991 in Poland.
