Fans, it is yet another accomplishment for Donna Summer as MacArthur Park climbs to the Top Ten Billboard Club Charts this week at number 7. The younger generation are enjoying what we already know as Donna is and remains the raining queen of the dance floor in any generation. Congratulations to Verve, Bruce Sudano, the Re mixers, DJ’s and the Fans old and new. What a great feeling to be a part of this and to celebrate the life and accomplishments of our Diva Donna Summer…She is smiling down.
Is this the mix on the Love to Love You Donna CD? ?
Probably is, but I wish it was the Rosabel mix, which is more amazing than the LTLYD mix.
I believe it is the Rosabel mix – not the one from the CD. Not 100% sure – but if it is, how did that happen?? LOL
I’ve been to a few clubs and no one is playing the CD mix. I have three very good friends who are DJ’s and they are all playing the Rosabel mix. Also – when you Google “MacArthur Park 2013” – the Rosabel mixes display.
A DJ friend of mine told me that Rosabel was asked by the “powers that be” to remix the song. They must have realized the original on the CD was not going to make it.
PS – I hate saying things like “my friend the DJ said”, etc. but what else can I say?
