Premier: Mac Arthur Park Video By: Stor Dubine

A special treat for your Valentines Day, Stor has done it again with his rendition of “Mac Arthur Park” (Laid Back Luke Mix) in video form. We have many fans with many talents and Stor seems to have this nailed down. He wanted the Fans to have the first look at his creation on this special day and so we obliged and sharing it with you first here. Thanks Stor for keeping Donna’s legacy alive in your very special videos!

Me, with hearing aids I discovered a new world, the music was the door of creations; all this story began in the 70’s when the rock music has dominated the radio, but the Rock sound was for me very confusing; and one day, my sister who came from the school, appeared with a LP in hands that his little lover gifted her; she put the acetate to hear and I felt I was going into a trance, a new melody and voice had to hypnotized me, I saw my sister dancing to the song and i saw the cover of the LP: that was magic to see those woman on the moon!, Winter Melody was the first, the clear and pure voice before my ears, taught me the universal language of music, with her I learned to understand each letter and harmony of a song, it allowed me to understand the universal language of music, let me express my emotions to my creations; Donna, for all this and more… my eternal tribute to you, I gift you your miracle!

The physical disappearance of Donna hit me badly, but her legacy lives, her voice and music will stay for generations, she is and will be an icon for new generations. I present here my new video, my vision of today, what Donna would do, singing this immortal song “MacArthur Park” in the famous Park!; the new remix from the album “Love to Love you Donna” of Vervé Records, the track of the video is the excellent “vocal remix Laidback Luke Mix” with a small introduction of the “DUB instrumental Laidback Luke remix”, edited by myself to this video, this is my vision for this whole musical history. I hope you enjoy and diffuse this video in honor of our diva and she could continue to be remembered through

BIOGRAPHY

Stor Dubiné born in Caracas, Venezuela. from birth he was diagnosed with severe sensorineural loss, with hearing aids can listen and then had an aptitude for art; he was admitted to a children’s workshop at the Museum of bellas Artes, thus beginning his art form, style and color and create comics and stories to write tales. he produced comic series as PAQUITO, TEDDY, MUPIES for the children’s newspaper „The Meridianito” in his land; Studied painting and realised a several exhibitions. He began his experience to studying film and video director and made videos and participed by some festivals and to the Festival Internacional del cine y video en la Habana, Cuba. He wrote and directed the play LAS MUERTAS (The Dead) for the theater. Since 1994 he moves to live in Berlin, making more exhibitions and he makes the video LAS MANOS ILEGALES (ILLEGAL HANDS) for The International League for Human Rights CARL VON OSSIETZKY in Haus der Kulturen der Welt, on the issue of illegal Latinamerican people in Europe. Seit 2000 Stor Dubiné decided to work with POP ART, included Flash-Animations Videos, between many videos are Donna Summer’s videos: THE HOSTAGE (2000), DOES HE LOVE YOU? (2002), I GOT YOUR LOVE (2005), DONNA – MERRY CHRISTMAS (2007), STAMP YOUR FEET (2008) and MAC ARTHUR PARK (2014); actually is working with his series “MY CHILHOOD’S VISUAL”, is about expressing his vision about artists that he experienced through out his life with new colors and digital techniques to focus the past en the present and Vinyl figurs – a view of his idols as children like that child that saw them grew up, therefore companions of his childhood. Donna Summer is included. Actually is working with new projects.
